Public Lectures on Astronomy in Culture
24 and 25 September 2014
Two public lectures, open to the general public, will also be held as part of this event. There is no pre-booking, so arrive early to avoid disappointment.
On Wednesday 24th a lecture will be given by Dr. Nick Campion on ‘Magic, Myth and the Space Race’, and on Thursday 25th the lecture will be by Dr. Juan Belmonte on ‘The last days of Nefertiti: astronomy, archaeology and genetics in ancient Egypt’. Both talks are free of charge and will be held at 19.00 at the auditorium of the Valletta Campus, University of Malta.
