The IXth Sophia Centre London Conference

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David invites you to a celebration of graduate research

Join us for a special two-day conference, available both in person and online. For the first time the annual Sophia Centre postgraduate conference is teaming up with the Astrological Association’s Kepler Day research conference.

Saturday will feature top-quality talks by graduates of the MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology as well as, for the first time, graduates from the MA in Ecology and Spirituality. The MA in Cultural Astronomy and Astrology is unique. It is the only academic qualification in the world which deals with the human relationship with the sky and includes the study of the history and culture of astrology in all its forms, in all cultures. It is taught entirely on line by an expert team of staff and our students come from all five continents. The focus on Saturday is on qualitative research, history and anthropology.

On Sunday we team up with the Astrological Association’s Kepler Day, focussing on quantitative and statistical research into astrology. The Association’s research conferences have been held since 1979 and are the only regular forum for considering such work.
