Welcome to the web page of the 2017 Sophia Centre Conference. This year's theme is 'The Talking Sky' and concerns humanity's spiritual connections with the stars, planets and sky. The annual Sophia Centre conference has established itself as the most important annual academic event which deals with the relationship between astrology and astronomy and human culture - from art to politics, and religion to history. This year's conference is on 1-2 July at our regular venue - the Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution.
