Sunday 21st September
Individual visits to the Hypogeum World Heritage Site and the Tarxien Temples, in pre-registered groups of 10 persons. Advanced bookings essential due to limited numbers. Organised return shuttle transport from Valletta. This unique and extraordinary visit to this World Heritage site is limited to a maximum 70 persons.
A mini-bus will depart every thirty minutes (prior to your booked time-slot) for the Hypogeum. Pick-up and drop-off point for this shuttle bus will be in front of the main entrance to Hotel Phoenicia, Valletta.
Tuesday 23rd September
Half-day excursion visiting the following sites:
- Hagar Qim, Mnajdra Temples and Vistor Centre
- Misqa Water Tanks
- Cart Ruts at Clapham Junction, dwelling caves and Punic shaft tombs
Mdina, the old capital city of Malta, is the Island’s most picturesque city. The tour starts with a walk through the narrow streets of this small medieval city, and finishes with free time for delegates to have dinner in one of the its many various restaurants with a fantastic view of the floodlighted city walls and the starry night horizon over Malta.Wednesday 24th September
Organised tour to observe the spectacular Autumn Equinox Sunrise at the Mnajdra Temple. Limited number of attendees. Registration based on first come first served basis.
Saturday 27th September
Full day excursion to the island of Gozo visiting the following sites:
- The twin Ggantija temples
- The Xhara Stone Circle
- The enormous Ta'Sansuna Dolmen
- Tour of the spectacular Citadel of Gozo
- The Gozo Museum of Archaeology
- Heritage Malta museums of Victoria, the capital of Gozo
- Lunch at a locally produced food and beverages restaurant
