Travelling to St. Petersburg and around
St. Petersburg is a very European city and English is well spoken. Road signs are in Russian and very often in English as well.
Travelling by air
Many international airlines fly to St. Petersburg: Lufthansa, Swiss, AirBerlin, Emirates and KLM. The international airport is called Pulkovo and is situated just south of the city.
If there are deletages who travel as a group, the conference organisers can help find travel and accommodation.
To and from the airport
There is easy access from the airport to the city centre by the Metro.
You can also use bus or taxi.

Getting around St. Petersburg
There are many options with Metro. There are two metro lines, M1 and M2. It's easy to use - beware that they get busy during rush hour.
